  2. Free Income Tax Preparation & E-Filing, Tuesdays from 1 pm to 6 pm

    AARP volunteers can assist with tax questions and can complete virtually any IRS forms. There are no income or age restrictions. Service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Taxpayers must bring a copy of last year's return, photo ID and Social Security Card. Volunteers are not IRS employees, but are trained and certified by the IRS. Sign-ups for this service begin an hour before the AARP staff start, each day.

  1. AAMPO Transportation Project Public Meeting

    February 27, 2018, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Kronkosky Place

    In June the Alamo Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (AAMPO) announced a call for projects in support of the development of the short-range Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for the region. The TIP lists transportation projects to receive federal funding over the next four fiscal years. While the AAMPO Transportation Policy Board makes the final decision on which projects receive funding, public input will help the Board make decisions that guide transportation investments and set the course for the next four years. Comment on the transportation projects competing for funding in Kendall County during this public meeting.
