As the state of Texas continues to see a surge of positive cases of COVID-19, Boerne city leaders are following Governor Abbott’s lead in modifying reopening operations and events to reduce the spread of the virus.
Out of an abundance of caution, the City of Boerne has canceled numerous events scheduled to occur between July 1 and July 19. We have also included a list of other events, not affiliated with the city, that have been canceled or altered.
July 3-5: Boerne Lake CLOSED
July 4: Boerne Car Show CANCELED
July 4: Flag Run is now a virtual online race
July 10: Thin Blue Line Memorial Run/Walk CANCELED
July 11-12: Boerne Market Day CANCELED
July 11: Cibolo Nature Center Moondance Outdoor Concert CANCELED
July 16: Live at the Library CANCELED
July 17: Move in the Park CANCELED
Baseball tournaments at Northrup Park scheduled for July 3-5, 10-12, and 17-19 CANCELED
When the lake re-opens on Monday, July 6, 2020, it will operate under modified hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m, while continuing to limit capacity.
Please note, a determination has not been made about future events in July and could be impacted. A decision will be made a later date, but please check back for updates.
